The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Marvin Newland
Marvin "Glenn" Newland, 82, 222 Stella St., Celina, died at 2:30 a.m. Aug. 21, 2006, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Jan. 3, 2006, in Alger, to Martin and Pearl Norris Newland. He married Betty Newland, who is deceased.
Survivors are a brother, Martin Jr., of Florida, and caretakers with whom he lived, Gerald and Vina Woods, Celina.
Deceased are three brothers, Leroy, Robert and Joseph; three sisters, Ida Gillispie, Peggy Halcomb and Elsie Francoe.
He retired as a locksmith from the Safe Co. in Hamilton. He was a veteran of the Airborne Rangers serving during World War II and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Commanders Club and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5713, Celina.
Private services will be held Thursday in North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Arrangements are by Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina.
