The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Deborah Lewis
Deborah E. Lewis, 37, 407 Balsam St., Fort Recovery, died at 12:14 a.m. Oct. 1, 2006, at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, Ind. Death was due to cancer.
She was born Aug. 20, 1969, in Portland, Ind., to Ronald and Shirley Shaner Litmer, who survive in Fort Recovery. On May 14, 2005, she married M. Keith Lewis, who survives.
Also surviving are a stepdaughter, Marshalle, Winchester, Ind.; a brother, Joshua Litmer, Fort Recovery; two sisters, Sandra and Tina Litmer, both of Fort Recovery; and a grandmother, Rose Litmer, Fort Recovery.
Deceased are two grandfathers, Clarence Litmer and Dan Shaner; and grandmother, Lovina Shaner.
She was employed at International Paper, Portland, Ind., and a 1987 graduate of Fort Recovery High School. She attended Trinity Lutheran Church and American Legion Post 345 Auxiliary, both of Fort Recovery.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, the Rev. Douglas Meyer officiating. Burial is at Springhill Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County.
