The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Betty Agler

Betty R. Agler, 79, 916 Elm St., Celina, died at 4:45 a.m. Oct. 17, 2006, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.

She was born Nov. 10, 1926, in Mercer County, Henry and Nellie Schwartz Leugers. On April 27, 1946, she married Cloyd Agler, who died March 7, 1996.

Survivors are a daughter, Becky Dale, Celina; two brothers, Robert (Marlene) and Melvin Leugers, all of Celina; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a son, James; a brother, Lloyd Leugers; and a grandchild.

She was a retired school teacher who taught for 23 years in the Fort Recovery Local School District.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Robert Ellis officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, rural Celina.

Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
