The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Carolyn Weis
Carolyn Weis, 57, 616 Cron St., Celina, died at 3:20 p.m. Dec. 16, 2006, at The Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford. Death was due to natural causes.
She was born Nov. 1, 1949, in Celina, to Richard and Waneta Wright Journay, who survive in New Weston. On April 19, 1975, she married Ron Weis, who survives.
Also surviving are four sisters, Barbara (Carl) Willeford, Union City, Sandra (Phillip) Hiestand, New Weston, Patricia (William) Parks, Union City, and Roberta (Dale) Asbury, Canapolis, N.C.
She was a nurse's assistant at Briarwood Nursing Home, Coldwater, and St. Marys Living Center, and employed at Flavor Best Foods and Hometown grocery stores. She was a member of Rose Hill United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star, Wayne Chapter 111.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Sandy Slade officiating. Burial is at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. An Order of Eastern Star service is 7:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
