The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Marilyn Caprara
Marilyn Ann Meyer Caprara, 74, of Dale City, Va., and Rangeline Road, Houston, died at 8:26 a.m. Jan. 17, 2007, at Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima. Death was due to natural causes.
She was born Nov. 18, 1932, in Dayton, to Julius J. and Louise F. Fiely Meyer. On Aug. 2, 1953, she married Joseph A. Caprara, who died July 25, 1993.
Survivors are five sons, Joseph (Nancy), Dale City, Va., Robert (Betty), Bardstown, Ky., Thomas (Monique) and James (Amy), all of Chesterfield, Va., and Anthony, Richmond, Va.; three brothers, Adolph (Joan) and Clifford (Charlene) Meyer, all of Newport and Delbert Meyer, Piqua; a sister, Shirley (Harold) Balster, St. Henry; a brother-in-law, Robert Boerger, Fort Loramie; a sister-in-law, Linda Meyer, New Bremen; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, William; an infant brother, Robert; and a sister, Carolyn.
She was a realtor until retirement in 1993 and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, serving during the Korean War. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Dale City.
Funeral Mass is 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial with full military hours will be later at Quantico National Cemetery, Va.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday and 12-1 p.m. Saturday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie.
