The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Thelma Lohrmann
Former Celina resident Thelma Luella Hensler Lohrmann, 93, died Feb. 4, 2007, in Maryland Heights, Mo.
She was born Dec. 13, 1913, in Bay County, Mich., to John and Emma Hensler. On Aug. 20, 1938, she married Hugo Carl Lohrmann, who is deceased.
Surviving are five sons, Wayne (Mary Jo), Birch Run, Mich., Jared (Sherry), Dickinson, Texas, Glenn of West Columbia, S.C., Marcus (Heidi), Toledo, and John (Linda), Walla Walla, Wash.; four daughters, Diana (John) Schramm, St. Louis, Mo., Linda Wise, Columbia, Mo., Gloria (Charles) Austerberry, Omaha, Neb., and Julia (Calvin) Tousignant, Bridgeton, Mo.; two sisters, Zona Beeman, Saginaw, Mich., and Donna Turner, Hemlock, Mich.; a daughter-in-law, Marla, Battleground, Wash.; a sister-in-law, Esther, Bloomington, Ind.; 26 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Leon, and a son-in-law, James Wise.
She had a high school diploma and attended a business school for secretarial training. She worked at the Ohio State Reformatory for Women, Marysville, and helped with many womens' groups and led Bible studies.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Liberty Township, the Rev. Randy Swanson officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery in Rockford.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina.
