The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Roseann Garman
Roseann Garman, 76, formerly of Celina and Frakes, Ky., died Feb. 19. 2007, at Ohio Masonic Home, Springfield, where she was a resident the last eight years.
She was born Dec. 3, 1930, in Sharpsburg, to George and Clara Metzner Schmitz. On Sept. 9, 1950, she married James C. Garman, who survives in Frakes, Ky.
Also surviving are five sons, Stephen (Debbie), Elizabethtown, Ky., James T., Sylvania, and Daniel, Scott (Mary Beth) and Timothy J., all of Celina; two daughters, Cheryl (Dan) Klaas, West Liberty, and Darla Heckler, Greenville; a brother, Albert Schmitz, Dayton; two sisters, Jeanette Geer, Bay City, Mich, and Bernice (Don) Vanderhorst, Celina; eight grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Edward Schmitz; and a sister, Mary Ruth Stoddard.
She was a homemaker and worked as a secretary at Delco, Dayton, and in the cafeteria at Celina Insurance Group and Celina West Elementary School. She graduated from the former Immaculate Conception High School, Celina. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, was a founding member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary Post 5713 and a member of American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 210, all of Celina.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Thursday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina.
