The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Jerry Caldwell
Jerry Caldwell, 65, 1205 E. Livingston St., Celina, died at 8:36 p.m. Feb. 19, 2007, at his residence.
He was born April 17, 1941, in St. Marys, to Clarence and Thelma Ashton Caldwell, who are deceased. On April 17, 1963, he married Winnie B. Henderson, who died Nov. 23, 2002.
Surviving are two brothers, Robert (Mary Ann), St. Marys, and Walter (Shirley), Telford, Pa.; and two sisters, Margaret Lininger and Marvel Thomas, both of St. Marys.
Deceased is a brother, Jack, and a half brother, Albert Binkley.
He retired from Copeland Corporation, Sidney, and had served in the National Guard. He attended St. Marys City Schools and was a member of Abounding Grace Church, Celina.
Services are 3 p.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Rick Brosher officiating. Burial is at Resthaven Memory Gardens, St. Marys.
Calling is 1-3 p.m. Friday at the church.
Contributions can be made to Celina Area Visiting Nurses & Hospice.
Arrangements were handled by W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina.
