The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Robert Hirschfeld
Robert (Bob) L. Hirschfeld, 81, 808 Everglade, St. Marys, died at 2:27 a.m. Feb. 27, 2007.
He was born May 15, 1925, in Chickasaw, to Edwin and Esther Schmidt Hirschfeld. He was first married to Adelia Coehick Arkenberg, who survives in Huber Heights. On Nov. 15, 1968, he married his second wife, Evelyn Coleman, who died July 27, 1995.
Surviving are three sons, Steven (Lori), Richard (Kathy) and David (Sharon), all of St. Marys; a daughter, Diane (Jack) Clear, Hoagland, Ind.,; two stepsons, David (Rose) Coleman, St. Marys, and Robert Coleman, Celina; a stepdaughter, Marilyn Coleman, El Cerrita, Calif.; three brothers, Nathan, New Bremen, Fred (Pam), Celina, and Stan (Dorothy), Noblesville, Ind.; two sisters, Laverne Kittle, Montezuma, and Evelyn Hirschfeld-Wymert, Bluffton, Ind.; 23 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, James, and a great-grandson.
He owned and operated the former Hirschfeld Builders for 38 years. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. Marys, where he served as a deacon, elder, trustee and congregation president. He also was a member of Mercer Lodge Free & Accepted Masons 121, Antioch Shrine, Habitat for Humanity, American Legion Post 323, Rotary Club and St. Marys Community Library Board.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. Burial is at Resthaven Memory Gardens, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys.
Contributions can be made to the church mission fund or St. Marys library.
