The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Dennis Ellis
Dennis Ellis, 55, 217 S. Vine St., St. Marys, died suddenly at 2:57 a.m. March 10, 2007, in the emergency department at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys, following an apparent heart attack.
He was born Sept. 12, 1951, in Celina, to Bevan and Laura Chilcoat Ellis, who are deceased.
Surviving are a lifelong companion, Connie Sawmiller, St. Marys; three sons, Tom Eversman, Kevin and Randy Sawmiller, of St. Marys; a daughter, Patty Ellis, St. Marys; a brother, Bob, St. Marys; four sisters, Cindy (Roger) Bonifas, Lora (Jim) Moyar and Becky (Andy) Sell, all of St. Marys, Sandy (Richard) Sadler, Wapakoneta; and 10 grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Tom.
He retired from St. Marys Foundry and served in the Ohio National Guard. He graduated from Memorial High School, St. Marys.
Services are 10:30 a.m. March 14, 2007 at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
