The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Rev. Anthony Gamble
Rev. Anthony Gamble, 93, of St. Charles Center, Carthagena, died at 3 a.m. April 8, 2007, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater. Death was due to complications following surgery.
He was born Sept. 12, 1913, in Auburn, N.Y., to Earll and Louis Vatter Gamble.
Surviving is a sister, Molly (Ted) Teckman, Sheffield Lake.
Deceased is a brother, Richard, and a sister-in-law, Gertrude.
He entered the Precious Blood Society in 1932 and was ordained in 1942 with a variety of ministries in his first years, including assistant pastor at a number of parishes in the Midwest, hospital chaplain and assistant librarian at St. Joseph's College, Rensselaer, Ind. He was a member of Province of the Pacific, ministering at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and serving as pastor at St. Francis of Assisi Church, both in California. He also was provincial secretary, archivist and editor for the province's newsletter.
In 1990, he retired to St. Charles, where he was often called upon to administer the anointing of the sick.
Funeral Mass is 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Charles, the Rev. Angelo Anthony officiating. Burial is at the community cemetery.
Calling is 1-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today at St. Charles, with a prayer vigil at 7 p.m.
Arrangements were handled by Hogenkamp and Sons Funeral Home, Coldwater.
