The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Rosamond Ayers
Rosamond "Rosie" Ayers, 58, 208 E. Walnut St., Coldwater, died at 7:34 p.m. April 15, 2007, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
She was born July 15, 1948, in Hartford City, Ind., to Bill and Jane Johnsonbaugh Jackson, who survive in New Bremen. On Oct. 20, 1973, she married Charlie Ayers, who survives in Coldwater.
Also surviving are a son, Bret (Kim), Coldwater; a daughter, Kara, Toledo; two sisters, Mariann (Ray) Sanders, New Knoxville, and Teresa (Mike) Williman, Van Wert; and three grandchildren.
She was a member of Phi Beta Psi Sorority, Coldwater, Lima Area Watercolor Society, Great Lakes Fish Decoy Collectors and the Carvers Association.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina, the Revs. Jeff Smalley and Ronald Wilker officiating. Burial is at Northgrove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Contributions can be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County, Celina.
