The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Donald McIntyre
Donald McIntyre, 64, of Wapakoneta, died at 9:45 a.m. July 31, 2007, at his residence. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born December 1, 1942, in Kodak, Ky., to William Vernon and Nellie Colwell McIntyre, who are deceased. In 1959, he married Judith Froning Elherding, who survives in Decatur, Ind. In 1971, he married Bonnie Ludy, who also survives. In 1974, he married Cherie Shoffstall Doering, who survives in Wapakoneta.
Other survivors are two sons, Michael, Ossian, Ind., and Mac, of Florida; two daughters, Lisa (Chris) Westergren and Nancy McIntyre, both of Decatur; two stepdaughters, Traci (Steve) Winslow and Patti (Tim) Hopper, both of Wapakoneta; three brothers, Lester (Sandy), Decatur, Kenneth (Debra), Ocala, Fla., and Greg, Knoxville, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Donald Corey McIntyre Lewis; and two sisters, Anna Ruth Combs and Doris Evelyn McIntyre, who died in infancy.
He was the owner of Blue Flame Gas in Decatur and The Pit Stop Tavern, rural Celina, and worked as a production manager for Carmet in North Carolina.
A memorial service is 5 p.m. Friday at New Start Community Fellowship Church in Celina, the Rev. John Mobley officiating. No burial information was available.
There are no calling hours.
