The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Selma Katterheinrich
Selma Rebecca Katterheinrich, 95, formerly of New Knoxville, died Aug. 2, 2007, at Dorothy Love Retirement Community, Sidney.
She was born April 23, 1912, in New Knoxville to Christ and Anna Elshoff Katterheinrich.
Surviving is a sister, Esther Barr of Sidney.
Deceased are two brothers, Emil and Arnold Katterhenry; and a sister, Edna Katterheinrich.
She taught school in Kettlersville and for St. Marys City Schools. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville, where she was active in the women's guild and taught Sunday school. She was a 1930 graduate of New Knoxville High School and a graduate of Bowling Green State University.
Services are 3 p.m. Sunday at the church, the Rev. David A. Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery, New Knoxville.
Calling is one hour prior to services in the Heritage Room of the church.
Contributions can be made to Dorothy Love Life Care Fund or the Radio Broadcast Fund of the church.
Vornholt-Miller Funeral Home, New Knoxville, is handling arrangements.
