The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Todd Clay
Todd Allen Clay, 43, of Mendon, was found dead at his residence at 5:16 p.m. August 6, 2007. A cause of death has not yet been determined by the coroner's office.
He was born July 11, 1964, in Celina, to Jerry and Sheryl Butcher Clay, who survive in Mendon.
Other survivors are a brother, Tim (Stacie), Haviland; two sisters, Terri Jutte, Mendon, and Traci (Kevin) Mendenhall, Scott; a grandmother, Alberta Clay, Rockford; and a grandfather, Gale Butcher, Berne, Ind.
Deceased are a grandfather, Darrel W. "Boogie" Clay; and a grandmother, Wilma Butcher.
He was employed at Basic Grain Products, Coldwater. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Liberty Township and a 1982 graduate of the former Mendon-Union High School.
Services are 10 a.m. Friday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Mendon, the Rev. Randy Christian officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the Mendon Fire Department or the Rockford emergency medical service.
