The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Norman Greber
Norman E. Greber, 79, of Spencerville, died at 10:15 a.m. Aug. 21, 2007, at his residence in Bonita Springs, Fla. Death was due to Parkinson's disease.
He was born Oct. 11, 1927, in Dayton, to Albert E. and Beatrice Blank Greber. On Oct. 29, 1950, he married Shirleen M. Weber, who survives in Bonita Springs.
Also surviving are two sons, John (Rebecca), St. Marys, and Jim, Bonita Springs; two daughters, Victoria "Vickie" (Tom Klausing) Strickland, Lima, and Linda (William) Smith, Spencerville; a brother, Earl (Lois), Spencerville; two sisters, Marie (Robert) Hirn, Delphos, and Barbara (Paul) Clorer, Cleveland, Tenn.; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a stepmother, Thelma Bitters Greber.
He owned Greber Construction Plaster and Drywall Company, Spencerville, from 1960 to 1975, was the developer and owner of Lima Self Storage for 30 years and owned the Squirty Worm Recreation Center in Lima for 22 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II serving in Germany and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6772 and American Legion Post 191, both of Spencerville. He also was a member of the Parkinson's Foundation and Fruit Growers Association of Florida.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, the Rev. Rex Schrolucke officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Spencerville Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted following the funeral at the funeral home.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
