The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Peter Belna
Peter Belna, 87, 708 W. College St., Coldwater, died at 3 p.m. Aug. 22, 2007, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
He was born April 12, 1920, in Shawnburg, Ill., to John and Mary Skiba Belna. On May 25, 1954, he married Lucille Bomholt, who died Dec. 2, 2004.
Surviving are a son, Victor, Coldwater; a daughter, Mary (John) Wyatt, Celina; a brother, Sam, of California; two sisters, Marie Stevens, of California, and Irene Burden, Painesville; and four grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter-in-law, Rosemary; and five brothers, George, John Jr., Nicholas, Alexander and John III.
He retired from the former New Idea plant. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and its Men's Holy Name Society, and Knights of Columbus Council 1991, all of Coldwater.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Richard Welling officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
