The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Evelyn Huston
Evelyn Huston, 88, formerly of 204 N. Hickory St., St. Marys, died at 2:04 p.m. Aug. 24, 2007, at Valley Nursing Home, St. Marys.
She was born Nov. 7, 1918, in St. Marys, to Fred and Florence Langsdon Speckman. On March 16, 1940, she married Homer Huston, who died Aug. 22, 1990.
Survivors are a son, Dave (Linda), New Knoxville; two daughters, Diana (Max) Prichard, St. Marys, and Beth (Wilbur) Rodeheffer, New Bremen; a brother, Jerry (Marilyn) Speckman, St. Marys; a sister, Dottie Monroe, Celina; eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Virginia Jung.
She was a licensed practical nurse and worked at the former St. Marys Nursing Home, and was co-owner of Huston's Sohio, St. Marys. A graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School, she was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. Marys, and its Women's Circle.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the church, the Auglaize County unit of the American Cancer Society or Celina Area Visiting Nurses.
