The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Ada Piper
Ada Piper, 92, 8127 North St., Neptune, died Sept. 1, 2007, at St. Marys Living Center.
She was born May 13, 1915, in Mercer County, to Harley and Hazel Krugh Martin. On June 16, 1936, she married Lowell Bud Piper, who died June 9, 2001.
Also surviving are two sons, Kurt, Neptune, and Delbert (Beverly), Mendon; two sisters, Grace (David) Hainline, St. Marys, and June Krogman, Leipsic; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Vera Piper.
She was a homemaker, a graduate of Neptune High School and a member of the Neptune Baptist Church.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Randy Christian officiating. Burial is at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
