The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Larry Stone
Larry A. Stone, 68, 107 E. Center St., Fort Recovery, died at 1:35 a.m. Sept. 22, 2007, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
He was born Nov. 29, 1938, in Fort Recovery, to Thomas and Agnes Constable Stone. On Feb. 24, 1962, he married Irene Gebele, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, David (Angie), Liberty Township, and Stephen (Nicole), Fort Recovery; a brother, Thomas (Betty), Portland, Ind.; a brother-in-law, Roger (Rhonda) Painter, Union City; and six grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Janice Painter.
He retired as a maintenance welder at Teledyne Forge, Portland, Ind. He was a U.S. Army veteran and attended Fort Recovery Local Schools. He also was a member of the Fort Recovery Car Club and the Fort Recovery Athletic Boosters.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, the Rev. Ed Wellman officiating. Burial is at Springhill Cemetery, Fort Recovery, with graveside military rites conducted by American Legion Post 345, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
