The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Vernon Hines
Vernon R. Hines, 84, 1505 Westbury, Celina, died at 2:07 p.m. Oct. 28, 2007, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
He was born Jan. 17, 1923, in Sidney, to Lewis and Edith Moser Hines. On Nov. 6, 1943, he married Nell Rose Loomis, who died Oct. 26, 2004.
Survivors are a son, Kevin (Mariann), Celina; two daughters, Linda (Steve) Schroer, New Bremen, and Cinda (Newman) Renfro, Parker Lake, Ky.; a brother, Robert (Mary), Celina; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Deceased are two sisters, Evelyn and Lucille.
He retired after 38 years at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., St. Marys. A U.S. Army veteran, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5713, Celina.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Kenneth Baker officiating. Burial is at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
