The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Kathryn Harris
Kathryn M. "Kate" Harris, 78, of 02916 Greenville Road, St. Marys, and Fraser, Colo., died at 6:18 p.m. Nov. 11, 2007, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born Aug. 16, 1929, in Noble Township, Auglaize County, to Orval and Gertrude Sheaks Stoner. On July 28, 1946, she married George William "Bill" Harris, who survives.
Other survivors are three sons, Bob (Janey), Golden, Colo., Ken (Terri), Longmount, Colo., and Greg (Jenny), Fraser, Color.; two daughters, Gloria (Tom West), Menagha, Minn., and Diana (Larry) Hausfeld, Coldwater; a brother, Pearl (Mary Alice) Stoner, Celina; two sisters, Marie (Donald) Hegemier, Wapakoneta, and Nancy Sue (Jack) Griner, Paulding; two brothers-in-law, John Schultz, St. Marys, and Don Stevely, Madison, Ind.; a sister-in-law, Mary Alice Stoner, St. Marys; seven grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Deceased are a brother, Robert Stoner; a sister, Jenelle Stevely; and a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lou and Frank Stuck.
She was a homemaker and businesswoman, assisting in her family in the operation of the St. Marys Trucking Co., and the Fraser Valley Ace Hardware Store in Colorado. She currently operated Harris Business Consulting with her husband.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Keith Stuck officiating. Burial is at Buckland Cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
