The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Dola Mowery
Dola D. Mowery, 93, of Otterbein Retirement Community, St. Marys, and formerly of Eaton, died Dec. 28, 2007, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born June 4, 1914, in Preble County to Morey and Grace Mt. Castle Duke. Her husband of 71 years, Robert J. Mowery, survives in St. Marys.
Other survivors are a son, Robert Lee (Marcia), Summerfield, Fla.; a brother, Leonard Duke, West Manchester; and a sister, Viola Johnson, Sarasota, Fla.
Deceased are two brothers, Ray and Russell Duke; and two sisters, Zelpha Albert and Lorene Ashbaugh.
She was a seamstress and sewed for the American Red Cross for more than 23 years.
Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Girton-Schmidt-Boucher Funeral Home, Eaton, the Rev. Lowell T. Spencer officiating. Burial is at Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg.
Calling is after noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
