The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

William Waterman
William "Bill" Waterman, 66, 102 Portland Street, Celina, died at 10 a.m. Jan. 14, 2008, at the St. Marys Living Center Nursing Home, St. Marys.
He was born Aug. 16, 1941, in Ft. Wayne, Ind., to Robert M. and Mildred Speck Waterman, who are deceased. His first wife, Janet Koester Goebel, survives in St. Paris; his second wife, Marge Nobogradac, survives in Celina.
Other survivors are a son, Robert (Judy), Celina; a stepson, A.J. (Nancy) Stabelli, St. Marys; a sister, Linda (Dave) Budde of Tennessee.; and six grandchildren.
He retired from International Harvester in Ft. Wayne after 30 years, and then sold cars for Reineke-Mitchell Auto Sales. He graduated from Celina High School and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Rambling Roads Car Club.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Robert Metheny officiating. Burial with military honors by the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion, both of Celina, is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
