The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Loree Nicodemus
Loree "Ree" Caroline Nicodemus, 56, Covington, died Feb. 7, 2008, at the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. Death was due to natural causes.
She was born June 13, 1951, in Celina to John H. and Virginia Loree Kittle Zumberge. Her father survives in Celina; her mother is deceased.
Also surviving is her husband of 30 years, Scott L.; her mother-in-law, Jean, Bradford; three brothers, Charlie Zumberge, Steve (Ginny) Zumberge and Mike (Cheryl) Zumberge, all of Celina; two sisters, Theresa Zumberge, St. Marys, and Jennifer Zumberge, Celina; and one granddaughter.
Deceased are her mother and two sons, John and Jesse.
She was a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School, Celina, and owner of Westbrook Beauty Salon, Troy. She was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church, Covington.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Harris Creek Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington.
Contributions may be made to the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital, Columbus.
