The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Helen Connolly
Former Chickasaw resident Helen Kramer Connolly, 75, of Reynoldsburg, died April 15, 2008, at the Ohio State University Ross Heart Hospital, Columbus.
She was born Sept. 16, 1932, in Chickasaw to Henry and Rosa Holdheide Kramer. On Oct. 20, 1956, she married Charles Connolly, who died June 26, 2007.
Surviving are a daughter, Carleen (Larry) Keene, Columbus; a son, Marc (Krista), Huntington, Conn; three brothers, Albin (Lucy) Kramer, Maria Stein, and Andy (Ellen) Kramer and Norbert Kramer, all of Chickasaw; two sisters, Agnes Knapke, Versailles, and Mary Ann (Gene) Overman, Minster; three sisters-in-law, Lucille Kramer and Marilyn Kramer, both of Celina, and Rose Kramer, Coldwater; and four grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Werner, Leon and Othmar Kramer; two sisters, Freida and Hilda Kramer; two brothers-in-law, Elmer Knapke and Roman Severt; and a sister-in-law, Alice Kramer.
She was a member of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Church, Columbus.
Services were held Friday at Cotner Funeral Home in Columbus. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Columbus.
