The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Wilma Deitsch
Wilma Gertrude Deitsch, 94, 806 W. Market St., Celina, died at 12:25 a.m. April 23, 2008, at the Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
She was born Nov. 25, 1913, in Liberty Township to William C. and Emma M. Fisher Weitz. On Nov. 25, 1937, she married Edward Deitsch, who died June 7, 1958.
Surviving are a son, Edward Deitsch, Celina; two sisters, Christiana Deitsch, Rockford, and Magdalene Weitz, Celina; a stepson-in-law, Eugene Hirschfeld, Celina; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
Deceased are two brothers, Paul and Elmer Weitz and a stepdaughter, Patricia Hirschfeld.
She worked at Mercer County Library in Celina for 38 years and was known as the "Story Hour Lady". She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church Hopewell of Celina, was involved in the Senior Citizens Craft Club, Celina Garden Club, and the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. She was a 1931 graduate of Celina High School.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church Hopewell, Celina, the Rev. Debra Domeier officiating. Burial is at Buck Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, and one hour prior to service on Saturday at the church.
