The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Leona Schlueter
Leona Mesarvey Schlueter, 88, 211 S. Brandon Ave., Celina, died June 3, 2008, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton.
She was born Sept. 17, 1919, in Cassella, to William and Rose Huelsman Hart. On Aug. 29, 1939, she married Edward N. Mesarvey, who died April 25, 1982. On March 9, 1985, she married Vincent H. Schlueter, who died Nov. 19, 1993.
Survivors are a son Joseph (Terri) Mesarvey, Coldwater; a daughter, Elaine Bruns, Coldwater; a brother Anthony (Alma) Hart, Dayton; a sister, Mary Ellen Newcomer, Van Wert; three granddchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four sons, John, William, Michael and David; a brother, Albert Hart; two sisters, Helen Erickson and Agnes Hart; and a son-in-law, Norbert Bruns.
She had worked at the J.C. Penney Company Inc., Goldstein's Department Store and the Hallmark Gold Crown Store, all formerly of Celina. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and its Altar Rosary Society. She formerly attended St. John Lutheran Church, where she was in the womens' Bible study group, both in Celina.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Richard R. Riedel officiating. Burial is at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina.
