The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Donald Moeller
Donald Eugene Moeller, 76, of St. Marys died at 8:03 a.m. July 11, 2008, at the St. Marys Living Center.
He was born Oct. 21, 1931, in DeGraff, to Marion Arthur and Rathia Strong Moeller. On Dec. 24, 1954, he married Stephanie Sue Patterson, who died Feb. 15, 1984.
Other survivors are two sons, Lewis, Farmersville, and Ward (Ellen), New Carlisle; four daughters, Kim, Vero Beach, Fla., Linda (David) McNamara, Kettering, and Heidi R. (Guy) Dennings, St. Marys; and 10 grandchildren.
Deceased are a sister, Rathin Eileen; and a grandson.
He worked on the family farm, joined the U.S. Army and served in the Korean Conflict from 1951 to 1953 as a military policeman. He retired from the Wright Patterson Air Force Base Fire Department in 1982, having served as captain. He also worked for Evans Potato Company in New Carlisle. He was a member of the American Legion, Vero Beach, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Medway.
Private graveside services were held July 22 at the National Cemetery, Dayton, with full military honors.
Contributions can be made to a local fire department or to the James Lockwood Scholarship Fund at the Kettering Education Foundation.
Arrangements were handled by Miller Funeral Homes, St. Marys.
