The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Charles LoVine
Charles M. LoVine, 87, 2100 Celina Road, St. Marys, died at 9:30 p.m. June 9, 2008, at the Veterans' Administration Medical Center, Dayton.
He was born Oct. 29, 1920, in Lafayette, N.Y., to George and Nora Alfero LoVine. On Nov. 18, 1946, he married Eleanor Cora Anderson, who died in February 1996.
Surviving are a son, Roy (Bonnie), Oswego, N.Y.; three daughters, Sharon (Jim) Fredenburg, Fulton, N.Y., Mary Jane (Wayne) Hinman, Summerville, S.C., and Patty Abbott, St. Marys; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandson.
Deceased are four brothers, Horace, George, Bill and Adolph; and three sisters, Helen Clark, and Nora and Gertrude LoVine.
He retired from the Rowlee Construction Co., Fulton, N.Y., where he was a carpenter supervisor. He was a U.S. veteran of World War II, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Mexico, N.Y.
Graveside services with full military rites are 2 p.m. Sunday at the Vermilion Cemetery, Vermilion, N.Y., the Rev. William O'Neil officiating.
