The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Dan Heiser
Dan D. Heiser, 59, of 5499 Club Island Road, Celina, died at 6:20 a.m. Sept. 2, 2008, at the Ohio State University Medical Center-Ross Heart Hospital, Columbus. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born Sept. 26, 1948, in Fairborn, to Lawrence Grant and Wanda Boise Heiser. On Oct. 8, 1983, he married Sue Seaton, who survives.
Other survivors are two sons, Kelly (Irene), McMinnville, Tenn., Craig, Celina; a stepson, Aaron (Beth) Wilson, Celina; two stepdaughters, Angie (Doug) Fair, Celina, and Andrea (Scott) Morrison, Herrick, Ill.; two brothers, Gene (Evie), Naples, Fla., and Ted (Pam), New Madison; and 14 grandchildren.
He was a retired salesman for Kerns Chevy-Olds, Celina, and a member of the Montezuma United Methodist Church, the Celina Loyal Order of Moose Lodge and The National Rifle Association.
Services are 10:30 Friday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Bruce Crane officiating. Burial is at a later date.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the church for the stained glass window fund.
