The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Onolee Piehl
Onolee B. "Onnie" Piehl, 89, 106 W. Spring St., New Knoxville, died at 8:25 p.m. Nov. 11, 2008, at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community.
She was born May 16, 1919, in Celina, to William Stanley and Imo Stewart Miller. On Sept. 6, 1947, she married Woodrow Piehl, who died June 17, 1982.
Survivors are five children, Stephen (Diana), Cincinnati, Judy Gross, Wapakoneta, William (Diane) and Fred (Diane), all of New Knoxville, and Julie (Mike) Pine, Columbia City, Ind.; a sister, Pauline (Dan) Miesse, Celina; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a grandson.
She was a homemaker and had worked at the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., St. Marys. A 1937 graduate of Celina High School, she was a member of First United Church of Christ, New Knoxville.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Very Rev. David A. Williams officiating. Burial is at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery, New Knoxville.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday in the Heritage Room of the church.
Contributions can be made to the Auglaize County Council on Aging, Grand Lake Hospice, Otterbein or the Radio Broadcast Fund of the church.
