The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality. Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories. It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes. Celina looked to be in danger of losing its home opener at the Fieldhouse on Friday night through the first three quarters of play, but the Bulldogs turned it on in the final eight minutes of action.

ST. HENRY - The defense of the St. Henry Redskins shined again on Friday, holding St. Marys to just 12 first-half points en route to a 53-31 win over the Roughriders in the home opener at Redskin Gymnasium. St. Henry improves to 2-0 on the season as St. Marys drops to 0-2.
FORT RECOVERY - The Fort Recovery Indians fell victim to cold shooting for three periods on Friday night as they dug themselves a hole too big to climb out of as they fell to the Jay County Patriots, 49-45, in nonleague action at Fort Site Fieldhouse.
Parkway was clutch at the foul line, allowing the Panthers to go to 3-0 on the season with a 51-48 win over Van Wert at the Cougar Den on Friday night. The Cougars drop to 1-2 on the season with the loss.
