The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Lois Amstutz
Lois M. Amstutz, 84, of Fort Recovery, died at 6:45 a.m. Dec. 17, 2008, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
She was born Feb. 29, 1924, in Fort Recovery to Noah and Elva Bergman Amstutz.
Surviving are two sisters-in-law, Marty, Columbus, and Ruby Lee, Bryan.
Deceased are two brothers, Ralph and Dale Amstutz.
She was a librarian at Fort Recovery Schools and Fort Recovery Public Library for over 40 years. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Fort Recovery, a 1943 graduate of Fort Recovery High School and a graduate of Wright State University, Dayton.
Services are 2 p.m. Friday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, the Rev. Verl Ballmer officiating. Burial is at Springhill Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is noon until services Friday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the church.
