The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Floyd Brehm
Floyd E. Brehm, 87, 1401 state Route 29 West, Wabash, died at 9:58 p.m. Jan. 10, 2009, at The Gardens of St. Henry.
He was born May 18, 1921, in Liberty Township, to John and Edna Bollenbacher Brehm. On Sept. 25, 1948, he married Rosalie E. Bryan, who died June 25, 2006.
Surviving are two daughters, Roxanne (Tom) Klenke, Coldwater, and Renee, Wabash; a sister, Ruth Ritchie, Celina; and two grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Stewart; a daughter, Priscilla; a brother, Alvin; two sisters and their husbands, Kathryn and Linus Klosterman and Minnie and Jack Laffin; and a brother-in-law, Bud Ritchie.
He was a farmer and worked at Heckler Electric, Mersman Brothers Furniture, Celina, and was a courier for Citizens Commercial Bank. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and served as a sergeant in the 11th Armored Infantry Battalion, 1st Armored Division. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Rockford, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion, both of Coldwater, and was a former deacon and member of United Mens Fellowship of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Rockford.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Catherine Costello officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery with military honors by the American Legion and VFW.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, and after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
