The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Jeff Germann
Former Celina resident Jeff Allen Germann, 52, 153 Edgewater Ave., Bryan, died at 1:02 a.m. Jan. 10, 2009, at the Community Hospital of Williams County, Bryan. Death was from natural causes.
He was born Dec. 22, 1956, in Mercer County to Arthur and Dorothy Pauline Miesse Germann, who are deceased.
Survivors are a fiancé, Tammy Rios, Bryan; a son, Dillon, St. Marys; a daughter, Ashley, Columbus; and three brothers, William (Linda), Mike (Darlene), and Rick (Nancy), all of Celina.
He was employed by Verizon as the local manager of network services in Bryan. He graduated from Celina High School in 1974.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Douglas Meyer officiating. Burial is at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
