The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

William Wycuff
William Jacob Ellsworth Wycuff, 78, 1004 N. Sugar St., Celina, died Jan. 25, 2009, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born Aug. 7, 1930, in Glenwood, to Elmer and Ruth Bowersock Wycuff. On March 3, 1951, he married Francis Walters, who died Dec. 17, 1969. On April 9, 1986, he married Edna Goins McCoy who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, John S. (Ellen) of Celina and Dave of Indiana; a stepson, David Goins, Portland, Ind.; four stepdaughters, Teresa (Ray) Hull, Muncie, Ind., Tonya Yates, Tina (Craig) Hall and Tammy (Donnie) Mullins, all of Celina; a brother, James of Montezuma; a sister-in-law, Hazel of Macedon; a granddaughter, 14 stepgrandchildren and 14 stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Herbert and Richard, and two sisters, Betty Keefer and Marjorie Draper.
He retired from St. Marys Foundry and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Rick Brosher officiating. Burial will be at the family's convenience at North Grove Cemetery.
