The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Ronald Freewalt
Ronald L. Freewalt, 70, of Wooster and formerly of St. Marys, died early the morning of March 28, 2009, at his residence. Death was due to cancer.
He was born Aug. 16, 1938, in St.Marys to Robert L. and Mildred M. Dudgeon Freewalt. On March 2, 1957, he married Mary A. Cunningham, who died Nov. 24, 2004. On Oct. 19, 2006, he married Margie (Angle) DePriest, who survives.
Other survivors are three sons, John Freewalt, Glenmont, Jeffrey (Patty) Freewalt, Big Prairie, Jay (Gloria) Freewalt, Wooster; three stepsons, Gary DePriest, Big Prairie, Kenneth DePriest, Wooster, and Chris DePriest, Urichsville; G randchildren, 7 step grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchldren; three brothers, Wayne (Sandy) Freewalt, Gerald "Oscar" Freewalt and Greg Freewalt, all of St. Marys.
Deceased is a brother, Kenneth Freewalt.
He was a 1956 graduate of Memorial High School, St. Marys, and retired in 2007 from Gross Lumber Co., Apple Creek, where he was a timber buyer. He also had worked at Pallet-All Manufacturing, Millersburg, and had farmed in St. Marys and Delaware areas. He also transported Amish men to work sites. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Millersburg.
Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. James Butler officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St.Marys.
Calling is 58 p.m. Monday at Murray Funeral Home, Fredricksburg, and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home in St. Marys.
Contributions can be made to the Wayne Street United Methodist Church building fund or the Hospice of Greater Wayne Co.
