The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Dale Fennig
Dale M. Fennig, age 88, of Coldwater, died at 4:27 p.m. June 2, 2009 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
He was born May 12, 1921, to Karl and Elizabeth Schroeder Fennig. On Sept. 14, 1988, he married Judy Stammen, who survives.
Other survivors are two sons, Ron Fennig, Denver, Colo., and Richard (Kathleen) Fennig, Beavercreek; a stepdaughter, Kelly Hayes, Columbus; two brothers, Arden Fennig, Tuscon, Ariz., and Don Fennig, Van Wert; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a sister, Evelyn Bryan, and two brothers, Herman and Floyd Fennig.
He was a rural carrier for the U. S. Postal Service, retiring in 1983. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a former member and congregation president of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Coldwater and later became a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Celina.
Memorial service is 2:30 p.m. June 19, 2009, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Celina. There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements were handled by Schoedinger Funeral Choices, Columbus.
