The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Magdelina Eyink
Magdelina "Maggie" Margaret Eyink, 92, formerly of 91 Mulberry Street, Chickasaw, died at 8:15 p.m. June 10, 2009, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born April 29, 1917, in Montezuma to John and Josephine Watercutter Benanzer. On April 12, 1939, she married Raymond J. Eyink, who died March 19, 1982.
Surviving are a son, Don (Mary) Eyink, Maria Stein; two daughters, Shirley (Roland "Brownie") Thobe, Maria Stein, and Bonnie (John) Ramshaw, Cambridge; a brother, Bill Benanzer, St. Henry; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are five brothers, Ben, Lawrence, Leo, Clarence and Andrew Benanzer; and two sisters, Hilda Miller and Angela Knapke-Miller.
She was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church and its Rosary Altar Sodality, Chickasaw, the Knights of St. John Ladies Auxiliary, Maria Stein, and was a poll worker for 25 years.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Gene Schnipke officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
