The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Brenda Johnson
Brenda Joyce Johnson, 64, of Celina, died at 3:45 a.m. June 12, 2009, at Lima Memorial Hospital. Death was due to natural causes.
She was born Nov. 19, 1944, in Roane County, Tenn., to Clifton J.R. Roberts and Dora Francis Dennis. On May 3, 1969, she married Richard D. Johnson, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Cindy Johnson of Mendon, and Toni (Grady) Hauter of Rockford; a brother, Thomas Marvin Roberts of Rockwood, Tenn.; a sister, Marie Anderson of Loudon, Tenn.; and five grandchildren.
Two sisters, Edna Ivey and Barbara Roberts, and an infant brother, Donald Roberts, are deceased.
She worked at Ohio City Manufacturing, where she was union president; at the Laurels of Shane Hill and as a home health aide with Celina Visiting Nurses.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, Pastor George Maddox officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
