The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Martha Barga
Martha S. Barga, 96, of Versailles died at 6:30 a.m. June 23, 2009, at Versailles Health Care Center.
She was born Sept. 2, 1912, in Darke County, to Charles and Magdalena Lachat Didier. On Feb. 8, 1936, she married Lowell F. "Hen" Barga, who died Nov. 8, 1995.
Surviving are three sons, James (Laura) Barga, Colon, Mich., Michael (Mary) Barga, Versailles, and Dennis (Nina) Barga, Versailles; two daughters, Roberta (Fred) Condon, Versailles, and Marilyn (Robert) Schockman, St. Henry; a daughter-in-law, Marilyn Barga, Versailles; a sister, Rose Byers, Piqua; a sister-in-law, Evelyn (Jerome) Alig, Portland, Ind.; 24 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Jacque J. Barga; three brothers, Clarence, Leonard and Bernard Didier; four sisters, Stella Osterloh, Josephine Huelskamp, Myrtle Byers and Wilma Wirrig; and two great-grandsons.
She was a homemaker and formerly worked at Buckeye Overall Company in Versailles. She was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles and Fleur-De-Lis of Versailles.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. David Vincent officiating. Burial is at St. Valbert Cemetery, Versailles.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles.
