The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Paul Rutschilling
Paul C. Rutschilling, 80, of Coldwater, died at 6:52 p.m. June 23, 2009, at Briarwood Village in Coldwater.
He was born July 19, 1928, in Coldwater, to August and Theresa Hein Rutschilling. On Oct. 13, 1951, he married Grace Bettinger, who survives.
Other survivors are a brother, Mark Rutschilling, Coldwater; and two sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Rutschilling and Edna Rutschilling, both of Coldwater.
Deceased are a sister, Marcella Rutschilling; a sister and her husband, Mary Agnes and Dewey Brooks; three brothers, Theodore, Louis and Urban Rutschilling; and a sister-in-law, Rose Evelyn Rutschilling.
He worked as a product manager at the former New Idea Plant in Coldwater. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and its Men's Holy Name Society, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Uniform Group, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the Knights of Columbus, all of Coldwater. He also was a member of the Mercer County Elks and Loyal Order of Moose, both in Celina. He served as a Coldwater village councilor for 16 years.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater with military rites conducted by the VFW and the American Legion.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
