The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Mary Ann Gebele
Mary Ann Gebele, 95, 502 W. Elizabeth St., Coldwater, died June 25, 2009, at 4:30 p.m. at Community Hospital Coldwater.
She was born April 26, 1914, in Mercer County, to John and Elizabeth Wellman Schroer. On Sept. 3, 1936, she married Albert Gebele, who died Nov. 27, 1968.
Surviving are a son, Dennis (Jeanne), Arizona; two daughters: Janice (Jerry) Oeswein, Arizona, Jane (Denny) Wilder, Celina; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers: Leo, Edmund and Cy Schroer; four sisters: Alma Schroer, Agnes Post, Rita Vondrell and Rosemary Post.
A volunteer at Community Hospital Coldwater, she was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and its St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality.
Service is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Revs. Thomas Schroer and Richard Walling officiating. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
Calling is 2-5 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
Memorials may be directed to Mercer County Senior Citizens.
