The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Rev. Bart Pax
Rev. Bart L. Pax, 67, died July 23, 2009, at St. Margaret Hall, Cincinnati.
He was born Aug. 25, 1941, in Celina to Oscar and Cordula Post Pax.
Surviving are six brothers, Rev. Ulric, Albuquerque, N.M., Francis (Joan), Coldwater, John, Camden, Mark (Pat), Versailles, David (Marilyn), Celina,and Marvin (Joann) Jacksonville, Fla.; and a sister-in-law, Thelma Pax, Celina.
Deceased are two brothers, Rev. Raymond and Thomas Pax.
He was a Franciscan friar of the Province of St. John the Baptist for 48 years and a priest for 41 years. He was ordained in June 1968 and ministered as associate pastor to parishes in the southwest for 12 years as well as St. Louis Parish, Batesville, Ind., for five years. He took a year for sabbatical/studies at the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Ind. In 1986, he was named director of Cursillo for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, a title he held until 1992. He then was appointed pastor of St. Mary of the Angels, New Orleans, La., where he served for 16 years.
Funeral mass is 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Clement Church, Cincinnati. A prayer service is 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial is at St. Mary Cemetery, St. Bernard.
