The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Harold Faller
Harold J. "Boots" Faller, 85, 1533 Westbury Drive, Celina, died at 9:08 p.m. Sept. 20, 2009, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born July 1, 1924, in Fort Recovery to Leo and Veronica Hoening Faller. On March 30, 1948, he married Jeannette Wannemacher, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Dennis (Coleen) Faller, Wapakoneta; a daughter-in-law, Joann Faller, Upper Sandusky; three brothers, Richard (Betty) Faller, Coldwater, James (Mary) Faller, New Weston, and Edwin "Bus" (Agnes) Faller, Fort Recovery; four sisters, Virginia (Denny) Schwieterman, St. Henry, Ruth Ann Cross, Pittsburgh, Pa., Kathleen Faller and Ethel Jutte, both of Fort Recovery; and eight grandchildren.
Deceased are an infant son, Joe Faller; and two brothers-in-law, Bob Cross and Albert Jutte.
He worked at CBS Automotive in Celina for 42 years and retired as a salesman. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars (V.F.W.) and American Legion, all in Celina. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. serving during World War II. He graduated from Fort Recovery High School. He held the position of treasurer and was the Assistant Commissioner of the ACME program. He was inducted into the first ACME Baseball Hall of Fame in 2005 and was a member of the Grand Lake Beagle Club in Jay County, Indiana, and trained beagles for years.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Brenberger officiating. Burial is at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Celina, with military honors.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home where American Legion and V.F.W.. services will be held at 7 p.m.
Contributions can be made to the church endowment fund or Community Health Professionals of Celina Hospice/Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
