The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Gary Nash
Gary G. Nash, 64, 6700 state Route 219, Celina, died Dec. 8, 2009, at his residence. According to the Mercer County Sheriff's Office, death was due to an apparent suicide.
He was born June 29, 2009, in Norwood to Harold F. and Marjorie Rowland Nash.
Surviving is the mother of his children, Cynthia Rice Hood, Amelia; a daughter, Sarah Nash, Montezuma; a son, Steven Nash, Celina; two brothers, Don (Paula) Nash, Huntsville, and Allan (Liz) Nash, of California.
He retired from Minster Machine Company as a security guard and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources after working 26 years at the St. Marys Fish Hatchery. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge, Celina, and a former member of the American Legion, Norwood. He graduated from Norwood High School and was a U.S. Army veteran serving as a radio operator in Korea during the Vietnam War.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Kevin Neumann officiating. Burial of his cremains will be at Burdge Cemetery, Montezuma, at the convenience of the family.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
