The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Dorothy Brandewie
Dorothy A. Brandewie, 80, 2030 Golf View Drive, Celina, died at 4:02 a.m. Dec. 23, 2009.
She was born July 5, 1929, to Jacob and Theresa Gels Kramer. On July 26, 1952, she married Lester Brandewie, who survives in Celina.
Also surviving are three sons, David (Holly) Brandewie, Valparaiso, Ind., Richard (Kalyn) Brandewie, Tampa, Fla., and Ted (Debbie) Brandewie, Lexington, Ky.; a daughter, Beth (Richard) Weber, Chickasaw; a brother, the Rev. William Kramer, C.PP.S., St. Charles; a sister, Rita Gustin, Oakwood; and nine grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Arnold; and sisters, Marie (Edward) Kennedy and Sr. Mary Ruth Kramer, O.L.V.M.
A graduate of Coldwater High School, she received her music degree from Sienna Heights College, Adrian, Mich. She taught piano for more than 25 years. She was a past president of the University Women's Club of Mercer County, a founding member of the College Community Arts Council and a past president of the Music Forum Club of the Grand Lake Area. She was a member of the Altar Rosary Sodality, the Resurrection Choir and was an active volunteer of St. Vincent DePaul. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, and a companion of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood.
A funeral Mass will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Brenberger officiating. Burial will follow in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Saturday and 12:30-1:30 p.m. Monday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina.
