The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Nevada E. Dafler
Nevada E. "Sally" Dafler, 89, Wapakoneta died at 2:49 a.m. March 28, 2010, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys following injuries sustained from a fire at her home.
She was born Aug. 14, 1920, in Mendon, to Frank and Icy Stewart Zellhart. On July 31, 1939, she married Glen W. Dafler, who died Nov. 2, 1994.
Surviving are four children, Freya Schneider, Toledo, Dennis (Barbara) Dafler, Hamilton, Phil (Sandra) Dafler, Malone, N.Y., and Curtis (Kathy) Dafler, San Luis Obispo, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Doris Zellhart, San Jacinto, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter.
Deceased is a son-in-law, Ron Schnieder, and a brother, Montana Zellhart.
She was a homemaker, worked at the Auglaize County Extension Office and was a case worker with Auglaize County Human Services. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Wapakoneta where she was a member of the church's Hannah Unit and women's sewing group. She also was a member of the Celina Chapter #91, O.E.S. and the 4-H Progressive Club in Cincinnati. She was poet emeritus of the Wapakoneta Daily News.
Services are 1 p.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. R.J. Davis officiating. Burial is at at Mendon Cemetery in Mendon.
Calling is 11 a.m.-1p.m. Thursday at the church.
