The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Rita Grimm
Rita Grimm, 89, Minster, died at 8:02 a.m. May 27, 2010, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born Jan. 20, 1921, in Minster, to Raymond and Laura Stueve Westerheide. On Aug. 17, 1940, she married Carroll E. Grimm, who died March 30, 2006.
Surviving are nine children, Gary (Cecelia) Grimm, Houston, Patti Longbrake, Sidney, Fred (Jill) Grimm, Holland, Steven (Barb) Grimm, Minster, Spencer (Meredith) Grimm, Dahlonega, Ga., Jenni (Doug) Dahlinghaus, Minster, Amy Witmer, Troy, Charlie (Shannon) Grimm, Saugus, Calif., and Gretchen (Chris) Matheny, Sylvania; a sister, Norma Sacksteader, Minster; a brother, Leroy Westerheide, Minster; two brothers-in-law, Kenneth (Carol) Grimm, Sebring, Fla., and Douglas Grimm, St. Marys; four sisters-in-laws, Marlene Grimm, Camden, S.C., Betty (George) Schlaudecker, Toledo, Jackie Badger, North Fort Myers , Fla., and Mary Evelyn (Allen) Paul, New Bremen; 32 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren.
Deceased is a son-in-law, Jerry Longbrake; a brother, Vernon Westerheide, three sisters, Rosy Botkin, Lucille Roetgerman, and Jean Wendeln; six brothers-in-law, Mel Botkin, Robert Roetgerman, Al Wendeln, George Sacksteader, Richard Grimm, and Paul Badger; two sisters-in-law, JoAnn Westerheide and Madge Westerheide.
She worked at Jenni's Hallmark in Minster. She was a member of St. Augustine Church in Minster, CL of C Past President, Minster Little Women 4-H Leader, Band Mothers and Minster Fraternal Order of Eagles 1391 Auxiliary.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Louis Schmit officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 1-6 p.m. Monday and 9-9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.
Memorials can be made to Minster Stitch and Snack 4-H and Grand Lake Hospice.
